      Volvo Construction Equipment has announced that it will officially launch a range of electrified compact excavators (EC15 to EC27) and wheel loaders (L20 to L28) in mid-2020 and stop developing diesel-based equipment for the relevant models, fulfilling its pioneering commitment to future technology.
        This move will make Volvo Construction Equipment the first construction equipment manufacturer to usher in the era of electric compact equipment.         The first electric machines will be unveiled during the bauma exhibition in Munich in April, and will then be gradually promoted in other markets around the world from 2020.
