    Volvo Construction Equipment officially launched the "Volvo+" overall solution to Chinese customers during its participation in bauma CHINA 2018. The new solution integrates Volvo Construction Equipment's rich equipment products and service products into a comprehensive service solution.

    It provides Chinese customers with all the services they need throughout the life cycle of their equipment in a completely new way, including financial service solutions, parts supply and maintenance, and even complete machine refurbishment.

    Volvo's overall solution is divided into nine categories: fuel efficiency, productivity, safety, financial services, uptime, attachments, rental services, accessories and recycling.

    Each category includes different service items. By signing a Volvo service agreement with dealers, customers can easily obtain service solutions tailored to their specific needs.

    Volvo dealers have played a vital role in the smooth implementation of the new solution. With Volvo's total solution, dealers can build close partnerships with customers throughout the long life cycle of Volvo equipment, thereby better strengthening service capabilities and improving customer satisfaction.

    When launching Volvo's total solution in China, Volvo Construction Equipment conducted in-depth research on the expectations of Chinese customers and proposed four key service areas: uptime, fuel efficiency, productivity, recycling and financial services.

    The fuel economy report processes data transmitted remotely from the equipment to provide operators with suggestions for improvement. Volvo's CareTrack® telematics system plays a key role in this process: using sensors on Volvo equipment, thousands of equipment data points are automatically recorded into a formatted report that is then emailed to the customer. By collecting detailed data and presenting it in an easy-to-understand format, the report reduces the time customers spend sifting through complex equipment information and allows them to spend more time focusing on equipment operation. These fuel economy suggestions and equipment data can help customers better understand how to use their equipment and improve their profitability.

    Intelligent applications drive productivity

    Productivity Services include advanced solutions to maintain and increase productivity on the jobsite.
